Arizona BBQ opened on 5 December 1995, and the date was no accident – it’s actually the birthday of one of the restaurant’s founders, Falk Nebeger. The first part of the restaurant’s name tells you much of what you need to know about the cuisine – it originates in the southwest of the United States and in Mexico, while the “BBQ” abbreviation speaks for itself: Americans, after all, are crazy about cooking everything they can over open flame. Arizona BBQ’s interior, meanwhile, recalls the interior of a classic American diner. The establishment is proud to be one of the first in Kyiv to specialize in a foreign cuisine and it’s doing all it can to maintain its fine reputation.
Arizona BBQ’s menu will appeal to carnivores – you’ll find here top-quality cuts of beef and the best poultry. Meat is cooked over an open fire year round, using ecologically clean fruitwood and hardwood. Uniquely tasty steaks and shashlik are available summer and winter. In addition, we use imported American sauces, seasonings, and ingredients, without which it would be impossible to reproduce the peculiarities of our regional American cuisine here in Ukraine. Moreover, Arizona BBQ just opened a non-smoking area and a children’s playroom with babysitter and video surveillance, and there’s a special “Clown Show” on Sundays. Our dining areas are equipped with six modern plasma TVs broadcasting our video collection of jazz, rock, and blues.
Above all, Arizona BBQ is a democratic establishment. Regardless of his or her social status and financial position, a person will feel right at home here. We serve dishes of all prices and there’s no dress code.
Visiting Arizona BBQ is like going out to the country, except much more comfortable. We’ve got a big, cozy, beautiful, and light-filled open-air area in which, as you sit at your table, you can watch your meal being prepared. All this good stuff is located in the historical heart of Kyiv – the Podol neighborhood. Our experienced team of cooks knows how to take care of you like no other in the city. It’s very tricky to reproduce Arizona BBQ’s dishes at home! So come visit and have a good time. Our Chef’s Menu changes for each holiday, including U.S. Independence Day, International Women’s Day, Christmas (with the usual gorgeous turkey), St. Valentine’s Day, the New Year, and Halloween.
